Kosara

Kosara. colored pencils on paper, 11"x14"
This is a commission piece I did for my uncle to give to my aunt of their granddaughter (what does that make her- my cousin once removed? They're also on my step-dad's side, so riddle me that) for their anniversary. Sadly, I have never met Kosara, but she's good looking, apparently! I took some photos during the process to show the progression if the drawing.

My work desk, i.e. kitchen counter.

  1. Kosara is a second cousin. I've got a lot of them. You just call them cousins, unless they're old enough to be an aunt. The technicalities aren't that important.
    Beautiful job!

  2. I've seen this drawing in various stages and I'm quite happy now to see it at completion. just beautiful, Lorraine. Simply beautiful. Thank you once again for sharing this and if I may, I would end with a common refrain:

    MORE!

    1. I have another one I want to post but technology was failing me last night- I can't seem to get the picture I have on my phone onto the internet in any form. I'm working on it though!
